I read recently that descending down a mountain is more strenuous than climbing it. There are four ways to descend: repelling, lowering, hiking, and tree anchor. Whenever a person decides to climb they must first look at the route down. That is the one they prepare for first. (climbing.about.com)
Friends, we are on the decent – these verses will have us repelling to new levels with Christ!
This week we will look at the promise Jesus give us:
“Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.'” Jn. 8: 31-32 NLT
What truth are you seeking? As you focus on this verse this week I encourage you to read one of the Psalms, or chapters in Proverbs each day.
Truth can be painful, difficult, and sometimes hard to face. But, it will set us free, and as we repel down the mountain this week may Christ reveal his truth to you!
